i think you have to use Google Analytic to know your business blog is working for you or not?
in Google Analytic it provides you a small script for copy/paste in your blog so that it could show you the result of your blog exp;- traffic, bounce rate or many more.
Add your blog on the Google Analytic tool and check the traffic and you will get how much your blog is working for you.If traffic increase then your business will also increase.
Login your blog and check the traffic trends. In blogger and wordpress this facility is available. if you are using customized domain then install Google analytics code and analyse your visitors
